CalT – Privacy Polciy

This Privacy Policy applies to the CalT applications, including CalT and CalT Lite, available for Android and iOS.
We respect your privacy and aim to keep CalT simple and transparent. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use the apps and how that information may be used.
1. Information We Collect
CalT does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address in order to use its core date and time calculation features.
Date and time values entered into the calculator are processed locally on your device and are not intentionally transmitted to our servers.
2. CalT Full Version
The full version of CalT does not display third-party advertising.
The core calculation features of the full version operate locally on your device. We do not use the full version to create user profiles or collect the date and time calculations you perform.
3. CalT Lite
CalT Lite is the free version of the application and may contain third-party advertising and may contact remote services to retrieve application configuration.
When these services are used, certain technical information may be processed automatically by third-party service providers. Depending on your device, operating system, region, privacy settings, and consent choices, this information may include:
- Device and operating system information
- IP address
- Advertising identifiers or similar device identifiers, where permitted
- Approximate location inferred from an IP address
- App interaction and advertising interaction information
- Diagnostic, performance, and crash information
This information may be used to provide advertisements, measure advertising performance, prevent fraud, improve service reliability, and perform related technical functions.
4. Advertising
CalT Lite may use Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads to display advertisements.
Google and its advertising partners may process information about your device and your interaction with advertisements in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Depending on your location and applicable privacy laws, advertising may be personalized or non-personalized. Where required, consent may be requested before certain information is used for personalized advertising.

5. Remote Configuration and Network Requests
CalT Lite may periodically download configuration information required for application functionality, advertising behavior, or service availability.
As with ordinary internet requests, servers or content delivery services involved in providing this configuration may automatically receive technical information such as an IP address, request time, device or application information, and other standard network request data.
We do not use remote configuration to collect the date or time values you enter into the calculator.
6. Device Permissions
CalT only requests device permissions that may be necessary for its functionality or for services included in the applicable version of the app.
Permissions available to the application may vary depending on the Android or iOS version, device configuration, application version, and services enabled in the app.
7. Third-Party Services
Some versions of CalT may use services provided by third parties. These third-party providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and their data processing practices are governed by those policies.
Third-party services may include, where applicable:
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads
- Google Play services
- Apple platform services
- Hosting, content delivery, or remote configuration infrastructure
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
Information may be processed by third-party service providers only when necessary to provide their services, such as advertising, application distribution, fraud prevention, diagnostics, hosting, or other technical functionality.
Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid request from a competent authority.
9. Data Retention
CalT does not intentionally store your calculator input or calculation history on our servers.
Third-party service providers may retain technical, advertising, diagnostic, or related information according to their own retention policies.
10. Your Privacy Choices
You may be able to control certain privacy-related features through your Android or iOS device settings, including advertising personalization, tracking permissions, and other privacy controls.
On supported Apple devices, iOS may ask for permission before an app or advertising service is allowed to track activity across other companies’ apps and websites.
Android devices may also provide controls relating to advertising identifiers, advertising personalization, permissions, and privacy settings.
11. Children’s Privacy
CalT is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the app or related services, please contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate action where necessary.
12. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the applications and related services. However, no method of electronic transmission, storage, or internet communication can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
13. International Users
CalT is available in multiple countries. Third-party service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you live. Their handling of information is subject to their respective privacy policies and applicable legal requirements.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to CalT, third-party services, legal requirements, or our privacy practices.
When the Privacy Policy is updated, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be changed accordingly.
